Managed trading account: how it works
A managed trading account is an account in your name where professional traders place and manage the trades for you. You fund it, they trade it within set limits, and you can see every position. At Orbis Official, our desk of 300+ analysts trades managed accounts with AI assistance, and every trade shows live in the app.
The money in the account is yours, and so is the risk: a managed account can lose money like any other trading account.
How it works at Orbis Official
Open your account
It takes about three minutes. We ask for proof of identity and address before your first withdrawal.
Choose your account
Basic from 250 USD, Bronze from 5,000 USD, Silver from 30,000 USD or Gold from 80,000 USD. Higher accounts add a more advanced AI, more analyst time and more service.
Fund it
By card, bank transfer or crypto. Your agent sends you a secure payment link and adds the deposit to your balance once it arrives.
The desk trades it
Analysts on our desk decide each trade with AI assistance and the desk places and manages it.
You follow every trade
Every position shows live in the app, and you can place your own trades too.
Managed or self-directed?
The same markets and the same risks. The difference is who makes the decisions.
Who decides
Managed: the desk's analysts decide each trade. Self-directed: you decide every trade yourself.
The time it takes
Managed: you follow along when you want. Self-directed: you watch the markets and manage each position yourself.
What you see
In both, every position, price and result is in the app.
Who carries the risk
In both, the money and the risk are yours. Leveraged trading can lose money quickly in either case.
Who is a managed account for?
It suits people who want to trade currencies, indices and stocks without spending hours watching charts, and who accept that leveraged trading can lose money. It does not suit money you will need soon, money you cannot afford to lose, or anyone looking for a fixed return.
What does it cost?
The costs of trading, such as spreads and overnight financing, and any account fees are set out in our terms and conditions and our order execution policy. Read them before you fund your account, and ask your agent if anything is unclear.
What are the risks?
Trades on a managed account use leveraged products such as CFDs. A small price move against a position can take a large part of the money in the account, and prices can jump on news or over a weekend. No desk wins every trade, and past results never promise future ones.
Read the risk disclosure before you open an account, and only trade with money you can afford to lose.
