How an AI-assisted trading desk works
An AI-assisted trading desk is a team of analysts who use artificial intelligence to read the markets faster, while people make the trading decisions. At Orbis Official, AI watches the charts and the news around the clock and marks signals. Analysts on our desk of 300+ check them, decide, and place the trades on client accounts.
The AI does not trade on its own. It is a research tool: it narrows down what to look at, and an analyst decides what to do.
What does the AI do?
It reads price charts across currencies, indices and stocks without a break, spots patterns that match buy or sell signals, and gathers the news and economic data that move each market. It ranks what it finds, so analysts see the strongest signals first.
It also keeps watch on open positions and flags when a market moves sharply or when an event such as a central-bank decision is due.
What do the analysts do?
Analysts check each signal against their own research: the trend, upcoming events, liquidity and how much is already in the market. They decide whether to trade, how large the position is and where to set the stop loss and take profit. Only a trade an analyst confirms goes ahead.
The desk then places the trade and manages it until it closes.
From signal to trade, step by step
The AI marks a signal
A price pattern, a news event or a data release lines up with a buy or sell setup, and the AI flags it.
An analyst reviews it
The analyst checks the signal against the trend, the calendar and the market's liquidity, and can reject it.
The desk sizes the trade
Position size, stop loss and take profit are set within the limits of the account.
The desk places it
The trade opens on the client's account and the desk manages it until it closes.
You watch it live
The position, its price and its profit or loss update live in the Orbis Official app.
What you see as a client
Every position the desk opens on your account shows live in the Orbis Official app: the market, the direction, the size, the price and the running profit or loss. You can follow it on your phone or computer, ask your agent about any trade, and place your own trades next to the desk's.
Limits and risks
AI can be wrong. It learns from past prices, and markets change. Analysts can be wrong too. A desk that combines both still has losing trades, and with leveraged products such as CFDs losses can be fast and large. Past results never promise future ones.
Read the risk disclosure before you open an account, and only trade with money you can afford to lose.
FAQ
Questions about AI-assisted trading
Does the AI trade on its own?
No. At Orbis Official the AI marks signals and gathers research. Analysts decide, and the desk places every trade.
Is AI trading reliable?
AI is good at reading large amounts of market data quickly, but it does not know the future. Treat any promise of certain results as a warning sign. What a desk adds is discipline: every trade checked by a person, sized within limits and visible to you.
How is this different from a trading bot?
A trading bot follows fixed rules and places trades by itself. Here the AI only proposes. An analyst reviews each signal, decides, and can say no.
Can I still place my own trades?
Yes. You can trade in the app whenever you like, next to the trades the desk places.
Four accounts. One desk.
Our 300+ analysts trade every account with AI assistance, and you watch each trade live in the app. CFDs carry a high risk of losing money.
